Brian Schreiber

Brian Schreiber is AIG Executive Vice President and Treasurer, responsible for AIG's Global Corporate Treasury Operations, including cash management, liquidity planning, as well as funding, hedging and capital raising activities. In addition, Mr. Schreiber is responsible for AIG's Strategic Planning and Corporate Development activities, investor relations, and is Chairman of AIG's Transaction Review Committee.

For the past two years, Mr. Schreiber has been responsible for AIG's Global Restructuring activities, including, all planning and transaction execution around the Company's efforts to recapitalize.

Mr. Schreiber joined AIG in 1997 as a Portfolio Manager for AIG Global Investment Group, and has held several positions of increasing responsibility in AIG's investment group, and corporate parent company, before being named to his current position. Prior to joining AIG, Mr. Schreiber was a financial analyst for Taylor & Co., a member of Bass Brothers Enterprises of Fort Worth, Texas, where he focused on public and private investments in financial services companies.

After graduating from business school, Mr. Schreiber joined Lehman Brothers as an investment banker in the firm's Financial Institutions Group in New York , working on transactions spanning insurance, banking, consumer finance, and asset management.

Mr. Schreiber started his career as a consultant with Booz Allen and Hamilton in the firm's Strategy Practice and subsequently joined its Acquisition Services Group, where he advised clients on cross border mergers and acquisitions, and post merger integration.

Mr. Schreiber graduated cum laude from New York University 's College of Business and Public Administration in 1987 with a BS in Finance, and was a recipient of the University's Founders Day Award. He also received an MBA from Columbia Business School in 1992.

Mr. Schreiber is a board member of the Jewish Community Relations Council of New York, and a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
