Jana Greer
Jana Greer is President and Chief Executive Officer of SunAmerica Retirement Markets and also serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of SunAmerica Annuity and Life Assurance Company. Ms. Greer is responsible for SunAmerica's variable annuity business, including distribution of products through approximately 105,000 representatives in SunAmerica's broker-dealer, national brokerage, bank and agency distribution channels.
Ms. Greer joined SunAmerica's predecessor, Kaufman and Broad, in 1974, and was promoted to Vice President in 1981. She was named Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of SunAmerica in 1991, and promoted to Executive Vice President in March 2001. Ms. Greer assumed the position of Executive Vice President of SunAmerica Retirement Markets in 1994 before being promoted to President in 1996.
Her outside Board affiliations include Vice Chairman, Board of Directors, United Way of Greater Los Angeles; Chairman, Board of Directors, USC Dornsife College of Letters, Arts, and Sciences; Board of Directors, Broad Foundations; and Board of Directors, Fulfillment Fund, an organization dedicated to high school graduation and college access for low-income students.
Ms. Greer received a Bachelor's degree, magna cum laude, from University of Southern California in 1973 where she was named to Phi Beta Kappa.
