Fred Cromer
Frederick Cromer is the President of International Lease Finance Corporation (ILFC). He joined ILFC in 2008 and has served as Chief Financial Officer until his promotion to President in early 2011. Fred has spent more than 17 years in various airline finance and planning positions at ExpressJet Airlines, Continental Airlines, and Northwest Airlines.
Prior to joining ILFC, Fred served as Vice President and CFO of ExpressJet Airlines. In this position, Fred managed the airline through a period of unprecedented growth and led the company’s IPO, transitioning it from a wholly-owned subsidiary of Continental Airlines to an independent, public company.
Fred received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Michigan and a Master of Business Administration in Finance from DePaul University. Fred is also a member of the Business Advisory Committee for Northwestern University’s Transportation Center and serves on the Finance Advisory Board for DePaul University’s Department of Finance.
