AIG and the New Zealand Rugby Union (NZRU) entered into a partnership in October 2012 when AIG announced its sponsorship of six national NZRU teams: the All Blacks, Maori All Blacks, All Blacks Sevens, New Zealand Black Ferns, New Zealand Women's Sevens, and New Zealand Under 20s.
